Stoffwechsel Werkstatt goes public - 21st to 23rd of July 2016, Vienna

Since February we (Yasmin Ritschl & myself as Philosophy Unbound) are (re)searching, questioning, affirming, writing and participating in the 2-years research project "Stoffwechsel - Ecologies of Collaboration" organized by imflieger. This and last week we had a long summer's workshop and from Thursday to Saturday we invite the public to visit, watch and contribute in our ongoing artistic research. STOFFWECHSEL - Ökologien der Zusammenarbeit ist ein transmediales Forschungsprojekt mit unterschiedlich involvierten Künstler_innen und Theoretiker_innen und experimentiert mit strukturellen und künstlerischen Verschränkungen.
STOFFWECHSEL - ecologies of cooperation is a transmedia research project with differently involved artists and theoreticians, experimenting with structural and artistic entanglements.

Werkzeug und Arbeitsmaterial dieser zweitägigen Werkstatt Öffnung sind die künstlerischen und diskursiven Setzungen der seit Februar forschenden Künstler_innen des Stoffwechsel-Projekts. Die jeweiligen Arbeitsweisen, Motivationen und Inspirationen bilden die Werkbänke für eine mögliche Durchdringung und Parasitierung; das Eigene, das sich für das Andere öffnet und sich im Anderen findet und so die stets fragile Grenze von Autorschaft und kollektivem Prozess, von Freigabe und Aneignung provoziert.
Tools and working materials of this two-day workspace opening are the artistic and discursive settings of the artists of the Stoffwechsel project, who have been researching since February, 2016. The respective working methods, motivations, and inspirations provide the workbenches for a possible permeation and parasitation; the Own which opens up to the Other, finds itself in the Other and thus provokes the ever fragile boundaries of authorship and collective process, of deallocation and appropriation.
